Mr Thomas Bowe notifies that any person found- shooting ducks on his lakes will be prosecuted. All permissions to shoot on the lakes are now cancelled. Mr Thomas Rimmer offers a reward ot ten shillings for information as to the identity of the person or persons who broke into the Methodist Church now in course of erection. The much wanted fabric, Cord Velveteen, is advertised to-day by Collinson-andCumunghauie, of Pal* merston North. One line in leading shades sells at 2s per yard, post free, and another line m cream is only Is 6d per yard. Samples await all sufficiently interested to write.
