CASHIERS & REVOLVERS

Wellington, May 16.

At about q o’clock this morning Reginald D. Coker, clerk In the Bank of New South Wales, Lambton Quay, was handling a revolver on the bank premises, when it went off, and the bullet entered his head. Death was instantaneous.

The authorities at the bank know of nothing to suggest that it is a case of suicide.

Deceased was aged 22 and came to Wellington from New Plymouth.
