BOROUGH ESTIMATES.
The Town Clerk, at last night meeting, submitted the following estimate of the receipts and expenditure for the year ending March 31st, 1914 Receipts: General rate Government subsidy 59 3s 6d, hotel licenses £l7O, miscellaneous licenses £3O, rents £IOO, building fees £lO, pound fees dog tax miscellaneous £2s, total ,£1769 3s 6d/*Expenditure : Overdraft r 10s id, maintenance roads, streets and drains salaries and office expenses £250, street lighting printing andadvertising t licensing expenses ranging £25, dog registration hospital and charitable aid £ SO, Mayor’s honorarium audit fees £35, interest and sinking fund, Council Chamber loan £l2O, interest and sinking fund Beach road loan ,£6O iSs rod, miscellaneous £6 14s yd, total 33 6d. The estimates were approved.
