A RIDDIFORD LAWSUIT

The Appeal Court this morning heard the case of Riddiford and others v, the Commissioner of Stamps, involving the question of the duty to be paid on an estate valued at ,£256,363 and live stock valued at £72,220. The a PP el ' lants are executors of the will of the late E- J. Riddiford. A highly technical argument turning on the provisions of the death duties Act is proceeding.
