I have had the privilege of serving yon for the past 12 years continuously, four of which as your Mayor. During this term I have endeavoured to serve you well, and if my services have met with your approval I would ask for your support at the coming election. I have made arrangements in my business whereby I shall be free to attend to the affairs of the Borough as the office may warrant. I thank you all sincerely for your confidence in me during the past years. If you approve of my actions during my terms of office, I ask you to kindly support me at the forthcoming election. I desire to sav that I serve no party, but whatever is in the interests of the community as a whole, shall receive my support.
