The Manawatu Herald. Tuesday, April IST., 1913. ALL FOOLS’ DAY.
Before the Herald reaches its readers to-day they will have known by the merry laughter ol the kiddies that it is All Fools’ Day—a day when the young folk are privileged to fool the children of an older growth. Many unthinking parents, no doubt, have been called from a warm bed at an early hour to be made the laughing stock of the family. The day brings back memories of the past, and we are glad by reason of its perpetuation. Long live All Fools’ Day.
