PICTURE SHOW. A splendid selection of films including many and varied subjects will be presented at the Munscipal Pictures on Wednesday night. Among the dramas we find a very powerful and beautiful story, “ The Power of a Hymn.” As little children they learnt the hymn, and when the mother died, the two little boys were adopted by Judge Reynolds. Twenty-five years roll by, one boys grows up honest and good and the other runs away from home. He is tried for a crime, and the judge is his own brother; the judge not recognising his brother sentences him to prison. When his time is up he plans to murder the judge, and going to the house sees his brother singing the old hymn of his childhood. Instead of a murder we see a happy reunion. Uther dramas are “ The Fraud at Hope Mine,” “The Way of the Mountains ” by the Eubin Company, and “ Partners,” a Selig story of the Damon and and Pythiaslike friendship of two western men. and the story of how this friendship was shattered. Other most interesting films are “ A Gaumont Graphic,” “ Training Elephants in India,” “ Shellfish,” and a fine scenic, “ Trondjehm to Christiana.” The comedies you will enjoy. They will tickle everyone. “ The Chip of the Old Block,” “ Agathas Matrimonial Ventures,” “'Bloomer’s Boxing Match ” and “’Felix at a Ball.” Felix, a quiet man, goes to a ball with ; his wife, who rents a dress suit several sizes too small. What happens is one long scream.
