We, the undersigned, respectfully offer ourselves as candidates for your suffrages at the forthcoming election of Councillors to the Borough. (5) Proper care and attention to the streets and footpaths, the periodical tarring of Main Street and the erection of sanitary conveniences, water trough and tap at some suitable site therein. (6) The establishment (if empowered by statutory law) of Municipal coal yards. (7) Proper supervision of the Municipal Gas Works, better lighting for the streets, with an extension of the system, and added facilities I ] n a S' b for household use. (8) Reduction of Municipal picture prices, introducing better films, and other minor improvements. ' (9) Rigid inspection of the Borough > accounts, with an effort to curtail unproductive expenditure.
