BOWLING.

A rink representing the local Bowling Club, consisting of Messrs Green, Woods, Clemett and Rimtner (skip), journeyed to Otaki yesterday afternoon to endeavour to‘wrest the Kinneburg Feathers from the Southern holders. A most interesting game was played, but the Otaki men maintained a lead from the start, but the local men shook themselves together from the 16th head when the scores stood Otaki 20 —Foxton 9. The Otaki men did not add a point to their score from the 14th head, when the visitors stood at eight.
