Smith, Ltd., ofPalmerston North, make an alteration in their advertisement appearing qn page one, in which they advertise that they are offering 500 new paletots for winter wear at sale prices during their great summer sale. The Foxton Borough Council invite tenders, to close on Monday, March 10th, for the erection of a strong room at the Council Chambers.
G. H. Stiles advises by replace advertisement that his drapery Sale \viU clpse on Saturday next, and he is offering the remaining bargains at enticing figures during this week. On Saturday he will make a special bargain offer of 1,000 yards of white and pink flannelette, which will cleared to make room for a big shipment to arrive shortly.
