Messrs Ross and Co., of the Bon Marche, Palmerston N., announce the opening up of new Autumn and Winter Goods in all departments, embracing the latest Decrees of Fashion in Dress Goods and Millinery.* W. F. Durward and Co. announce that they are now showing their first, shipment of Autumn and Winter Dress Faorics. These goods comprise all the fashionable material for the approaching winter, and will be found smart and attractive. Slightly damaged toilet sets at one-third usual price are advertised to-day by Collinson and Son, of Palmerston North. Also there are others at half-price, as well as articles of crockery which are offered at equally low prices. With cooler days and chillier nights the careful housewife will welcome the low-priced flannelettes advertised in this issue by Collinson and Cunnmghame, Ltd., of Palmerston North. The firm are very big importers from actual manufacturers, and offer these seasonable lines at very low prices, ranging from 3s lid to lis pd per dozen yards. Samples are gladly sent on request, and as no travellers are now kept, the public reap the benefit. See advertisement on page 3.
