MANAWATXJ COUNTY COUNCIL. NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR PRIVATE TRAM-WAY LICENSE. OTICE is hereby given that CHARLES PETERSEN, of Foxton, Contractor, has applied to the Chairman and Councillors of the Manawatu County Council, under “The Tramways Act, 1908, for a license to lay down, construct and maintain a private tramway along a road within its district. The following are the particulars of the application:— The name of the applicant is:— Charles Petersen, of Foxton, Contractor. The road proposed to be traversed isßallyhooley Road, Himatangi, for a distance of about two and one-quarter miles ; and the main road from Foxton to Sanson for a distance of about 12V2 chains from the junction of Ballyhooley Road northwards to the railway siding. The plan of the proposed tramway may be inspected at the office of the Manawatu County Council, at Sanson, at any time between the hours of 10 a.m. an 4 4 p.m. on each week day except Saturdays, when it may be inspected between the hours of 10 a.m. and 12 noon. The same application, and any objections thereto, will be taken into, consideration by the Chairman and Councillors of the Manawatu County Council on the Ist day of April, 1913.
