MOUTOA DRAINAGE BOARD.
The ordinary monthly meeting of the Moutoa Drainage Board was held last night. Present : Messrs Gower (chairman), Barber, Robinson and Easton.
The Clerk reported the amount to the credit of loan account at £x 18s 4d, and to general account £33 ss. t , The Chairman reported that he had made arrangements to complete the lower end of drain by day labour, the cost of which would be about £6o- This work would be completed in about eight days, thus completing the whole of the work. Arrangements were made to continue the services of Mr Madden, the Board’s overseer. Other routine business was transacted, and the meeting terminated.
