THE SANITARY QUESTION.
(To the Editor.)
Sir. —I was very much amused to read Cr Richmond’s, also Crs Hannah and Chrystall’s twaddle re the sanitary question —for twaddle it is, or why is it the only job belonging to the borough they have their envious eyes ou. Now, sir, I will bet a new bat that it Cr Hannah’s motion had been carried, no one iu Foxton could pick the winner tor the job among the three Councillors or some of their poor relations. Foxton is on the move when it is given out at the Council table that every man should have equal chance of benefits —of course that includes dissatisfied Councillors—and the sanitary cart is the only benefit so far in Foxton worth notice at the Council table. Curious all this trouble begins after the races. Sir, I should advise the next person who buys the gates, if he is a borough employee, to serve every Councillor with a free pass. Nothing like looking ahead when Councillors are so keen on equal chances. —I am, etc., Anti Twaddle.
