SEARCH FOR AN HEIR.
ESTATE VALUED AT THREE
MILLIONS.
Auckland, February 21st
In connection with the search for an heir of the estate of Westlands, in South Wales, valued at three millions, the matter is now being investigated by the Public Trust Office. One of several claimants is Stanley Walters, formerly a sorter in the Wellington Post Office. Another claimant is John R. Walters, of South Africa. He has written to Mr T. W. Mayson, of Auckland staling that a judicial declaration made some few years ago was to the effect that if a certain Richard, John Walters could be found, the estate would unquestionably revert: to the writer when his relative died. Richard Walters, who waai in Mr Maysou's employment, is said to have known before ’ hia death that he was entitled to claim valuable lands in Britain, but felt he was too old to bother about* money matters, '
