PICTURE SHOW
Full of interest is the programme for to-morrow night and lull of variety. “A Moonshiners Heart,” produced in the heart of i the Western hills, a dramatic ' subject which pulsates with the grim savagery of the moonshine region and presents Mr G. M, Anderson in another of his worldfamous characterisations. “The Apache Renegade,” photographed in the Indian country near Santa ! Fe, New Mexico, at an elevation of 6000 feet. “His Fate’s Rehearsal,” a very striking story, showing how a man swiftly going down hill, was one day when in a drunken stupour, shown in all its wretchedness, his home as it would be in a few years time if he did not pull himself together; the terrible spectacle brought the man to his senses as nothing else could have done. The other drama is a most powerful subject, entitled ‘‘Forgiven in Death,” produced by the S. and A. Co. A fine scenic, “The Marches of Overstana;” a film of travel, “Visit to Danzig; ” and two films of interest, namely “How Corks are made” and “The Defence of the Dardanelles.” The comedies are surely some of the best shown in Foxton. “The Bliggs family at the Zoo. ’ ’ This very countrified family visit the Zoo, causing fits of laughter to the spectators, the animals seem to terrify them, and they imagine they can do the same. Mr Bliggs recognises a brother in a most hideous monkey. “Simple Simon and the Devil,” • the ridiculous adventures, in the Nether Regions, of a man who sold his soul to the devil* Also, two other real good comics.
