The New Zealand Times, in an editorial referring to the Ministerial visit to Foxton, says nearly all the local requirements brought under the notice of the Minister are of a desirable character. Referring to the tramway extension the Times says there is no reason why the Minister for Public Works should not give the matter every consideration, and concludes: “It has been talked of long enough, and ought to have been constructed years ago.’’
