CHEESE FACTORIES COMBINE.

Ekktahuna, Feb. 5

Twenty-nine delegates, representing nine factories, met at Eketahuua yesterday, and decided to form a Bush Districts Cheese Factories’ Association, for the benefit of the industry. Matters covered by discussion were joining the Employers’ Association, purchasing farmers’ supplies in bulk, carriage of cheese on railways in insulated vans instead of trucks covered with tarpaulins, regulation of local prices, weekly instead of fortnightly Home shipments, opening up outside markets, method of weighing and Home sales, freights more extended, accpupt sales. A further conference is to be held to adopt a eonstitqtioa.
