CORRESPONDENCE.
(To the Editor.)
Sir. —As Foxtou Heads is fast becoming an ideal seaside resort and claims visitors for the best part of six mouths in the year, 1 wonder if there is any enterprising person or persons who ever thought of the necessity of bathing machines along the beach. I believe, if there were one or two or more of these conveniences at the disposal of surf bathers, they would be greatly appreciated. Even if a small charge of 6d per person was set, the patrons using them would not grumble. At most seaside resorts at Home bathers are not allowed to undress or dress only by occupying a bathing uuehine, for which a charge of 2d is made (including costume and. towel). A woman is in charge of the ladies, and a man for the men. Such facilities as these at the Foxton Heads would be appreciated by the more modest surf bathers than as at present. Trusting this information might be of some use.- — I am, etc.,
