RIVER EXCURSION.
On Monday the launch Tauiora will make an excursion trip up the river, lauding passengers about two miles above the Wbirokiuo bridge, or any other spots as desired by excursionists. The launch will leave the Beach at 10 a.m. and the Foxton whaif at 11 a.m. Returns fares from Beach are 23 6d and from wharf 2s. A reduction in these fares will be made for large families. To-morrow afternoon, weather permitting, the launch will run to the Beach, leaving the wharf at 2 o’clock and returning at 5 o’clock.
