BOROUGH FINANCES.
At last night’s Council meeting the Borough Treasurer presented his monthly report, which was read as follows :
9s rod has been paid into district fund account, and £2 into the cemetery account since the last monthly meeting of the Council. The bank balances this day are: District iuud account ,£970 tbs, cemetery account £26 9s yd, and Beach road loan account ,£76 5s 4d. The separate accounts in credit are : General account .£l3l ns rod, reserves account ,£6B 12s Bd, cemetery account £25 4s id, sanitation account ,£lO9 4s id, town hall account £202 15s 2d, Beach road account ,£43 6s 1 id, interest account ,£244 ns gd ; and those overdrawn are : Library account £l6 9s Bd, gas works account ,£IOB 4s sd.”
