FLANNELETTE AGAIN.
Dunedin, Dec. 30.
At the inquest this morning on the death of Annie Ewart, aged 16. of Owaka, vvlm died last night from burn; received on May i6tb, after a painful illness, the evidence showed that while silting in a flannelette nightdress a spark from a wood fire ignited the p'rment, Coroner Graham s id, iu -• big the verdict, that <n view n .lie large number of cases where n-.u----nelelte was responsible tor fatal burns, it ought almost to be made a crime to wear flannelette in any circumstances.
