ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Auckland, Dec. 23
Margaret Hill, aged 8, was found dead in the gutter near her residence at Birkenhead. It is supposed she died from shock caused by a fall. Invkrcargiu,, Dec. 22.
Peter Clifford, a sawmill baud, aged 36, was struck 011 the bead by a branch of a falling tree at Dougwood. He sustained concussion, from which he died at the Riverton Hospital. He leaves a widow and four young children.
