KING GEORGE AND THE BIBLE.
. London, Dec. 14. The Scripture Gift Mission, learning that the King read the Bible regularly, wrote to Lord Kuollys for confirmation. Lord Kuollys replied that he had asked the King, and was directed to say that it was true. His Majesty promised Queen Alexandra, his mother, in iSSr, that he would read a chapter daily, and he had adhered to his promise ever since.
