DRUIDISM.

The half-yearly summoned meeting of the Mauawatu Lodge, U.A.0.D., No. 73, was held last night, when A. D. Bro. H. R. Huntley presided over a goed attendance of members. One new member was installed. The balance-sheet for the half-year was presented, which disclosed that the Lodge was making satisfactory progress. The visitors included P.A. Bro. Kirby, Ivy Lodge, South Canterbury, P.A. Bro. Beadnell, Oroita Lodge, Palmerston North, and Bro. Beevey, from Shannon Lodge. The following officers were elected for the ensuing half-year, and were installed into their various offices by P.A. Bro. Kirby, who acted as Installing Master in the unavoidable absence of the District President, and P.A. Bro. Woods officiated as Master of Ceremonies A.D., Bro. Martin; V.A., Bro, G. O. Barber; 1.G., Bro. W. H. Currie; 0.G., Bro. PI. McKegney; A.D.8., Bros. I. E. Watt and T. Simpson ; V.A.8., Bros. E. Page and M. E. Perreau ; minute secretary, Bio. F. Woods ; auditor, Bro. A. Smith ; delegate to Grand Lodge meeting, Bro. F. D, Wbibley. P.A. Bro. F, Woods was nominated for the office of District President.
