GIFT AFTERNOON.

A gift aiterucou in connection with the coming Church ot lingland bazaar was held at the residence of Mrs james Robinson, on Wednesday afternoon. A number of ladies and a few gentlemen were present, and a splendid number of gifts were brought. During the afternoon songs were rendered by Mrs Freeman, Mrs Clemelt, Mrs Hunt, Miss D. Signal, and Mr S B. Collins. Mr Simmons contributed a violm solo and Mr Betty gave a number of gramophone items. Mrs Robinson provided a delicious afternoon tea, and a pleasant afternoon was spedt. It was decided definitely that instead of holding an Old English Fair, it should be a Japanese Fair to be held during the first week of. April immediately after Easier.
