BOROUGH FINANCES.

At last night’s Council meeting the Borough Treasurer presented his monthly report which was read as follows :

“I have paid into the district fund account the sum of £328 ns, and into the cemetery account £$ los since the last monthly meeting of the Council. The bank balances this day were : District fund account /1061 os 4d, cemetery account 9s yd and Beach road loan account 5s 4d. The balances of the various separate accounts are as follows : In credit, general account /217 ys sd, reserves account 14s sd, cemetery account ,£23 7s id, sanitation account £l 3B 7s Bd, town hall account ,£94 18s icd, interest account £3Bl ns 3d, Beach road loan account 6s 1 id, and at debit, library account £1 19s 6d, gas works account £l5B 19-:,”
