ENTERTAINMENTS.

PICTURE SHOW.

For to morrow night, “The Relief of Lucknow," a tale of the Indian Mutiny of 1857, will be screened, showing how the besieged people of Lucknow were saved from annihilation by the heroism of a volunteer, whose valiant efforts brought relief. The trcops seen are from the 2nd Battalion, Queen’s Own Regiment. “The Barefoot Boy," a very beautiful story taken from Whittier’s poem. Another equally interesting drama “Heaven Avenges," the unerring justice of providence. “Broncho Billy’s Gratitude," is one of the finest, most absorbing western dramas ever released. Two very fine sceuics are “Across the Swiss Alps" and “Kriml and its lovely Waterfalls." The Ache, a stream which has its origin in the glaciers of Kriml, empties its waters over three famous falls into a chasm. Included in this programme is a “Bathe Gazette" and a sporting film of “Deer Hunting in Ontario.” “The Last of the Black Hand Gang" is really one of the funniest films imaginable. The many adventures of the man who had a black hand on his coat, accidentally left there by a chimney sweep, and is taken for one of the notorious “ Black Hand Gang." “ Friscot is too Honest." This is a very laughable story, and remarkable as it may seem in this case honesty was certainly not the best policy.
