On 30th November and 2nd December, a Special Passenger train, stopping at intermediate stations if required, will leave Palmerston for Feilding at 10.45 a.m. Return train leaves Feilding at 5.45 p.m.

The T 0.45 a.m Special connects at Terrace End with the 6.30 a.m. train from Waipukuran.
