The All Nations Fair, tinder the auspices of the local Anglican Church Ladies’ Guild, was opened by the Veu. Archdeacon Eancouri: in the Druids’ Hall last Friday. The interior of the building presented a very charming and animated appearance. _ The “ Holland stall” was in charge of Mesdamcs Tilling and Terry and the of these ladies as saleswomen and their persuasive eloquence were sufficient to create a feeling of envy in the hearts of shop rivals. “ Greece Stall, ’in charge of Miss Dunckley, was cleared to the last spot, and I guess and calculate that ‘‘America,” in charge of Miss Wickliffe, was the most attractive of all. “ Ireland,” with Mesdames Boullbee and Day in charge, did excellent business. “ Brittania,” under the supervision of Mrs Mere wood, was as it should be, the most charming of them all. Mrs Gunning had charge of the tea rooms and gave every satisfaction to patrons. The fortune-telling stall, presided over by a coquetish and Eastern damsel, attracted heaps of small change —particularly from the male portion of the audience. Mrs Law was most successful in the “Australia” flower stall. The shooting gallery was in charge ol Mr Mowbray. Mr J. T. Woods made the nearest guess of the live sheep, being qlbs. out. Mr E. G. King was the envied winner of the doll, by correctly naming it “Molly.” The Rev. Mr Palmer thanked all who had assisted to make the affair such a success.
