OBITUARY.

Another old colonist, in the person of Mrs Nice, passed away at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr Charles, ou Saturday evening, after a short illness, at the ripe old age of 73 years. Mrs Nice came to New Zealaud with her pareuts, Mr and Mrs Edward Austin, in the ship Ashmore, aud arrived in Nelson in 1854. Nearly the whole of her life was spent iu Nelson. Deceased is survived by her daughter, Mrs Charles, with whom she has resided during the past eleven mouths. The iulerrment will take place to-morrow.
