The person who took a lady’s gray ram-coat from the Coronation Hall, by mistake on Saturday evening, is asked to return same to Mrs W. Nye. The Manawatu County Council invites tenders for supplying and delivering 350 yards of metal on the Foxton-Shannon road.
The question of Christmas presents for little girls is solved by O’Connor and Tydeman, jewellers, of Palmerston North, who advertise to-clay a list of articles suitable foxpresents. These goods are moderately priced, and of good variety. D. M. George, draper, of Palmerston North, advises by advertisement that he is holding a midseason summer sale, in which summer goods are offered at bargain prices.
