PICTURE SHOW. An excellent programme is advertised for to-morrow night, containing a splendid variety of subjects. Among the dramas we find one by the Essanay Company, “The Eye That Never Sleeps,” a subtle and thrilling secret service melodrama. The first of a great series introducing Francis X, Rushman in the role of Howard Mayne, the secret service sleuth, startling adventures, wonderful interpretation. Another drama by the Lubin Company is “ The Sacrifice.” Howard Belknap, son of a handsome society widow falls in love with Enid L, a Rose, a dancer. The mother much perturbed urges Henry Carlton, her own admirer, to break up the match. In the end circumstances make Carlton break with the rich widow, and
asks Edid to become his wife. Other dramas are “ Captain King’s Rescue ” and " Fur Her Brother’s Sake.” A most interesting film will be "The Making of an Aeroplane,” giviu us an insight into the wonderful mechanism of these machines. There are two beautiful scenic films, one being a fine water sub ject entitled "Keika Fails,” and the other "Glimpses U Canada."’ A real good comic is "Trying to Fool Uncle,” also "A Novel Burglary.” A comedy, "Capt, Jenks’ Diplomacy,” is easily one of the most amusing films yet put on, A very clever trick comic film is "Percy’s Diminishing Bike,” a bike always getting into trouble, and when on the point of being captured, promptly disappears.
