CATHOLIC SOCIAL

The last of the series of socials under the auspices of the local Catholic Church was held in the Coronation Hall last night, and from both a social and a financial standpoint was equally as successful as the previous ones. There was a very large attendance and dancing to music supplied by Mr F. C. Berthold, was keptup till an early hour this morning. Messrs M. E. Perreau and S. Hudson officiated as M’s.C. An extra was played by Miss Lenihan. During the evening Mrs Duggan contributed a vocal item. A very tasty supper, provided by the ladies of the parish, was handed round and much enjoyed.
