BREACH OF BANKRUPTCY ACT.
Auckland, Sept. 30,
At the Police Court to-day, John Whitaker, horse trainer, was charged under the Bankruptcy Act with not having kept proper books and with having contracted debts when he had no reasonable prospect ot paying them. He was sentenced to one mouth’s imprisonment.
