SHEEP RETURNS.

DECREASE ON LAST YEAR

The second interim return of sheep was presented to the House of Representatives on Wednesday, by the Minister for Agriculture. It shows, that the flocks of the Dominion on April 30 aggregated 23,750,153 sheep, a net decrease of 2 45>973 below the total on the same date last year. There are 21,471 owners of sheep, a decrease for the year of 227.
