CORRESPONDENCE.
(To the Editor.)
Sir.— As a result of several letters which have appeared in the Manawatu Herald re Hockey on Sunday, a number of urchins, during a social at Moutoaon Wednesday night last, through their ignorant “hooliganism” and no doubt revengeful spirit, made it quite impossible for Mr A. H. Yates to be heard in his comic item. I have been informed that the disturbers who were responsible for this somewhat disgraceful behaviour, are members of the Moutoa Hockey Club. If this is so (and I hope it is not) they not only made an exhibition ot themselves, but they also dragged the honour ol the hockey club in the mire. It is to be hoped that their parents will teach them how to behave in future when away from home. — I am, etc , A Player. Moutoa, 6th August, 1912.
