STOCK REPORT
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., and Reduced, report: At our fortnightly sale at Hiraalangi on Monday we bad a good entry ot sheep and calile, the latter consisting mostly ot dairy stock, over 100 springing heifers being yarded. We had a good clearance at late rates, and very few lines went out unsold. Quotations : Sheep —Store ewes 9s, hoggets (small; xos 2d. Cattle— Yearling steers (small) 36s to £2 ns 6d, yearling heifers (small) £2 xSs 6d, Jersey yearling heifers £4 9s 6d, store cows 7s to £7, 14s, cows in calx £4 to £s, springing cows £7 to £lO 15s, backward : . .a calf £4 to £4 19s, springing heifers £5 10s to £6 15s and £7 to ,£lO ss, fat cows £5 Bs, bulls to £4.
