CADET NOTES.

During the afternoon parade yesterday the following promotions, in connection with the local school cadets were made; —Corp. C. Coley to be sergt., cadets A. Walls, B. Barnett and D. Robinson to corp., and cadets W. Kruse, H. McGregor, J. Ross, H. Robinson to lance corp. Cadet H. Taylor was appointed bugler aud W. Laugley drummer. The Department has forwarded the annual supply of ammunition aud shooting will be recommenced forthwith.
