ENTERTAINMENTS.

PICTURE SHOW.

There are some good subjects on the bill for to-morrow night, and patrons may be sure of enjoying themselves. A Western drama, full of thrills, is entitled “The Trail thiough the Hills.” With a suddenness which marks all their marauding ventures, the Indians swept down upon the Reageu cabin and set it ablaze, and the inmates are faced by a terrible danger. The film also shows how a faithlul pony managed to save its master’s life. “Mother Love” is another powerful drama, telling of the love of a mother for her sou, true and deep, by which a family is saved from a great sorrow. A most unusual film is the “Otter Study”; the scenes depicted, strange as they are, were not arranged by the photographer, but occurred in the natural order of thiugs, though usually hidden from human sight. The actors in this weird drama of life aud death were quite unaware of the silent watcher who was to reveal their secrets to the world. “Everything comes to him who waits’ ’ ; this is a screamingly funny story of a smashing good waiter. There are a number of other good subjects, including the Pathe Gazette. A scenic, “Holiday on the Zambesi,” “Electric House-building” (a smart trick film), and several others.
