STOCK REPORT
The New Zealand Doan and Mercantile Agency Coy., Ltd., report : —At our fortnightly sale at Hiraataugi, on Monday last, we had a good entry of cattle and a small yarding of sheep. Buyers were praseut, and a good sale resulted, very little being turned out unsold. Quotations ; Sheep : Forward ewes, 13 s 3 S Cattle ; Mixed yearlings (interior), 34s 6d ; yearling heifers, £2 10s to £3 7s 6d ; x5-months heifers, is; backward heifers, £3 17s 6d to £4 12s 6d; springing heifers, £5 15s to £ 6 LS S 1 store cows, £3 to £3 is ; forward cows, springing cows, £6 15s to £S ; bulls, £2 to £2 10s.
