Tha New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Etd., report: —At Palmerston N, on Thursday we had a medium yarding ol Doth sheep and cattle, which met with a good clearance at late rates. (Quotations: — Sheep; Forward wethers, 17s 3d to 20s ; fat light ewes, 14s rod to 15s; store ewes Bs. Cattle: Wcauers (small), 235; yearling heifers, £2 16s ; store cows, £2 to £2 2s 6d , forward cows, £$ 8s ; tat and forward cows, £% 16s 6d ; cows in calf, £\ 10s to £6 10s; springing cows, £8 to £g 10s; light fat bullocks, £8 17s 6d.
