THE HON. GEO. FOWLDS.

TO LECTURE AT FOXTON,

In the Masonic Hall on Wednesday evening next, the Hon. Geo. Fowlds will, in response to an invitation Irom the Foxton Literary and Debating Society, deliver a public address on the subject of “Good Citizenship.” Mr Fowlds has made a comprehensive study of the various phases of this subject and the local society is deserving of more than passing thanxs for inducing a statesman of Mr Fowld’s recognised ability, to enlighten us on a subject which is of vital importance to citizens of every community. Owing to the Town Hall being otherwise engaged for Wednesday, the smaller hall had to be taken and in this connection the society desires to express its thanks to the Salvation Army officers who cheerfully gave up their right to the building for that night. The front seats, as far as possible, will be reserved for ladies. Admission is free.
