The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, and Reduced report: At Palmerston North on Thursday we had a fair entry of sheep and a moderate yarding of cattle. There was a good enquiry and all lines sold freely under the hammer. Quotations: Store ewes gs 5d to 10s id, forward ewes 15s 2d, empty 2-th ewes 16s id, store wethers 17s. forward wethers 19s qd, fat wethers 22s gd, ewes in lamb 17s 6d, hoggets (small) 10s 3d. Cattle: Weaners (small) 265, store cows 395, forward cows £2, is to £2 18s, fat forward cows ,£4 4s to £4 17s 6d, cows in calf £4 10s to £5, springing cows £8 7s 6d, fat and forward heifers £4 19s, bulls £2 2s 6d,
