ORCHESTRAL SOCIETY’S CONCERT.
TO-MORROW NIGHT
Elsewhere in this issue is published the programme of a concert to be given in the Masonic Hall by the Tiakitahuua Orchestral Society. To the music-loving portion of the community it contains a feast of good things and should attract a large attendance. Among the performers is Miss Mumford, a favourite with Palmerston audiences, who has also achieved a splendid reputation as a vocalist and elocutionist. By the way, this young lady is a competitor at the forthcoming Napier competitions, as is Miss Green, who will also be a contributor. Miss Green has already made a name lor herself in musical competitions. Mr H. Lyall will contribute one or two of his humorous numbers which should put the audience in happy vein. Mr Buglass will also contribute. The instrumental selections by the talented orchestral society should alone be worth the price of admission. The admission charge brings the concert within reach of all and this should ensure a bumper house.
