ENTERTAINMENTS.

PICTURE SHOW,

To-morrow night’s picture show is going to be really tip-top. The films are all clear and vivid, and the subjects are right. A powerful drama, “Carr’s Regeneration,” is the story of how an ungovernable temper was brought under control, or the regeneration of a brute in human form into a man of gehtleness and peace. The above film is by the well-known Vitagraph Company, and is without a doubt one of their best. “The Cure of John Douglas'’ is a stirring drama by the Tubin Company. The cure consists of a unique plan for overcoming whisky. Other films are : “hirst Aid to the Injured,” a most instructive subject by the Selig Company ; a ’ scientific film, “Blowing Bubbles,” a really beautiful film that should be seen to be appreciated; “Ifife in a Kaffir Kraal” will show us some very curious habits and the home life of these savage people; “Higher and Fewer” is a film in which we have something quite out of the ordinary, this being a , real good comedy of love in an" % aeroplane, beautifully ' clear and interesting ; a most amusing trick j comic entitled “Bewildered. Bakers” cannot fail to raise roars i of hearty laughter, and “The ; Horse of the Regiment” is without doubt the funniest thing imaginable.
