PICTURE SHOW

There is a splendid variety of subjects on the programme for Saturday night. Owing to the late arrival of the film, "Theßattle of Pottsburg Bridge.” it was impossible to show it. last uight, but it will be screened on Saturday night, "The Cow Puncher,” is a strong Western drama by the Dux Company. A most exciting drama by the Clarendon Coy., is "Lieut, Rose and Stolen Battleship.” A Lubin drama, "Scandal Mongers,” is a subject that carries a moral and is well worth seeing. A tropical filmjthat should prove of great interest is the "Wreck of the Delhi.” The "Australian Gazette” i« right up-to-date with scenes of recent happenings and events. A most unusual and novel film is a study of "Fresh Water Fish.” A most amusing comedies by the A.B. Company is entitled, "Did Mother get her Wish.” Mamma desired a rich husband for her daughter Nellie, so Tom, who was simply a clerk, was by no means her choice, though he was Nellie’s. Jones was favoured until Brown inherits a fortune, Jones then armages to inherit a fortune also, in the end both Brown and Jones appear with the minister only to find that Nellie had eloped with Tom. There are other equally amusing comedys, "Twas ever Thus,” "Capt. Barnacle’s, Diplomat,” and the "Courtship of Miss Triffies,”
