PICTURE SHOW
To-morrow night’s picture show will be well worth seeing, the programme Is a long one, and not one ot the films are disappointing. “The Battle of Pottsburg Bridge” is a stirring story ot a Southern girl's bravery. Bartlow bids his mother, sister and sweetheart good-bye, and is off tojoin Stuart’s Coulederate brigade. Some time iater the opposing army are holding the bridge near Bartlovv’s old home, and he, knowing the country so well, plans to burn the bridge and interrupt the Federal’s line of communication. Bartlow, however, is wounded, but he manages to reach his home. His sister Jessie determines to take her brother’s place, and in the face of tremendous dangers, reaches the bridge and sets fire to it. General Stuart, calling to congratulate Bartlow, learns of the Southern girl’s great bravery. Other good dramas are, “The Substitute,” “New Faith,” and “Heart of John Barlow.” “Walk you Walk” is a real good comedy by the Kalem Company: Sam takes Rose out for a spin, and demands a kiss, or Rose must walk home, which she does. They arrange a plan to give Sam a dose of his own medicine. They get him to take them for a ride, persuade him to get them some flowers, and then jump back into the car, and leave him to walk. By-and-bye Sam is arrested, and as he is hurried off he hears the girls calling, “Walk, darn you, walk!” There are a number of other good films too numerous to mention. A lull list is printed elsewhere.
