IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” “The Libraries and Mechanics Institute Act, 1908,” and "The Rating Act, 1908,’' and all amendments thereto, the Foxton Borough Council hereby notifies its intention to make and levy a general rate of threepence in the £, and a Library rate of one-eighth of a penny in the £, on the unimproved value as shown on the Valuation Roll ot all the rateable properties in the'Borough of Foxton, also a sanitation charge of seventeen shillings per pan on all house property within the night-soil area, on Monday, the 10th day of June, J 912, at the ordinary monthly meeting to be held in the Council Chambers, situate in Main Street, such rates to be for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1912, and terminating on the 31st day of March, 1913. and the said rates and sanitation charge to be due and payable in one sum at the Town Clerk’s Office on the Ist day of July, 1912.
