THE FUTURE LIFE.
Auckland, May 6
In a sermon in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Bishop Crossley said he had long held that the view of the Church of God was that heaven and hell weie not existent for people till Day of Judgment. They would pass into a stage after death with character, personality and memory. Paradise was what was described in the Creed as a descent into hell. In the Revised Reversion the word was used as Hades —which meant the unknown the unseen, the place 01 rest, of peace, of conscience, of memory.
